The central tablet of this attractive Statuary marble chimneypiece is carved with four winged putti depicting the four seasons; this tradition dates back to antiquity. The classical associations are continued with end-blocks carved with husk draped urns. Richly-veined, semi-precious Jasper is used to inlay the flutes, completing the look of this chimneypiece.
