A late 18th century, Irish, Neo classical, Greek Revival chimney piece in Statuary and Sienna marbles.
The moulded shelf with a band of running pearl. The frieze with three sienna panels inlaid in white with heavily stylised Greek Keys and flanked by wreaths of Bay Laurel leaves, attributes of Victory. The statuary moulding of the opening surrounded rich slabs of sienna the whole raised on squared blocks.
